Deborah Gorman Johannesburg
Her repertoire encompasses light classical, mellow jazz, well-known classics, ballads, contemporary music, popular songs and Christmas music, all alternating between
the saxophone, clarinet, flute and keyboard.
She can relax the mood of your functions, or create a party atmosphere. The choice is yours!

In April 1999, she released an album entitled 'Saxational', which is a compilation of some of her favourites, including Jazz and Blues.

This was followed by the release of a wonderful Christmas album, entitled ' Merry Christmas, With Love, Debi', for Christmas with an unusual flair!

Rike Coetzer Johannesburg
In 2001 she was a semi-finalist for the Crescendo Music Competition for one of her own compositions. In 2002 she joined the Cape Town band Southern Glow and performed at the famous “Jazz Bar” at the Hilton Abu Dhabi in the UAE for two years. She also performed with the band “The Worx” at the Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai.

In 2004 she joined the Barnyard Theatre circuit and has toured with shows like Roll over Beethoven, The Piano Boys, Boogie Wonderland, Forever Young, Tonight’s the Night, Rock around the Clock and Bloubloed en Biltong.
Rike plays on a Selmer alto saxophone and has recently started playing soprano saxophone. She was fortunate enough to meet the famous sax player David Sanborn in person at the JVC Jazz festival in New York.

Sabine Bairds Johannesburg
Performing in smaller ensembles or on her own, she has played at almost all venues in Johannesburg e.g Sandton Sun, Saxon, The Westcliff, Mandela square, Caesars Palace, Montecasino, The Botanical Gardens, Oakfield Farm, Avianto and Casalinga to name only a few.

Thulani Tshabalala Johannesburg

Thulani studied music at the Funda Music Centre, Soweto, South Africa for two years in 1988 & 1989. He has played with a variety of bands all over South Africa playing different styles from jazz, pop to Afro jazz.

Both Rike and Adri are seasoned performers with a wide experience in musical theatre, playing in classical orchestras and working with different jazz and pop bands. Velocity can incorporate vocalists and / or other instrumentalists as required.
