Sally plays acoustic/electric guitar, sax, bass guitar and frontline vocals. She has worked at the Royal Swazi Sun, Swaziland, Holiday Inn/Sun International circuit. Ian Jones (bass guitar/ guitar vocals and harmonies):

Ian hails from Manchester, U.K. He has toured extensively worldwide fronting show bands and playing as back-up for such stars as Janet Jackson, and was a session player for Lisa Stansfield. He is a true professional and brings high standards to every venue that he works in.
Ian is also a highly qualified sound and lighting engineer.

Joanne and Danielle Fisher (vocals, dance, harmonies & percussion) :

These sisters hail from Durban, South Africa and are often mistaken for twins, when in fact there is 4 years age difference between them. Born into a show biz family, their father is Danny Fisher, international singer, comedian and impressionist with the world famous Blarney Brothers. Who have just completed a 4-week sell out season at O’Malleys Irish bar in ShangHai.
The girls have worked with the All girl bands Strutt and Blonde Ambition around South Africa. Take a combination of strong vocals, tight choreography, a cheeky sprinkling of audience participation and you have two vibrant, professional young entertainers who are gorgeous to look at and listen to!

Denim Johannesburg
This Proudly South African group launched their album at Mofolo Park at the Arts Alive’s Heritage Day Celebration It consists of 14 tracks featuring South Africa’s finest artists including Johnny Clegg, Gloria Bosman, Vicky Sampson, George Phiri, Dr Victor, Adam & Bez, and Verny Scholtz. The album was produced and engineered by some of the top names in the business, with production by Verny Scholtz, co-production by Alexis Faku, Adam Howard and Dr Victor. One of the tracks, ‘I Wish’, was recorded with some of the children from Childhood Cancer Foundation SA.

Dr Victor & The Rasta Rebels Johannesburg
In 1997 this band with a new album “Fatty Boom Boom” climbed the charts, having completed a nationwide tour with Gloria Estefan.

Dr Victor and his Rebels launched into 1998 in top gear, as they were invited to perform at Midem in Cannes, France. At this premiere international music fare, they once again leave all astounded by the set, incorporating a selection of their classic hits and latest songs featuring their distinct harmonies, punchy groove and total command of the stage. They completed their latest album called “Faya” .They then went to Israel for a Five month Five Star Hotel tour.

Dave has been playing professionally for 25 years and Doug has been playing professionally for 15 years.

Dave came to South Africa with the band “Copperfield” from the UK in 1985 and plays keyboards, guitar and sings. In 1998 he worked with a duo at the famous “Hemingways Bar” at the Hilton, Abu Dhabi, UAE and returned to South Africa in 1999.

Doug is a guitarist & vocalist and a very good sound engineer. He played with much success all over Southern Africa for 10 years playing almost all the Sun International Casinos and Holiday Inn venues as well as various other Hotel chains.

The song “ Sixteen” reached 10th position on Radio Metro.
The Video “Forever My Lady” claimed the # 1 spot on Studio Mix, SABC 1 with the song achieving 4th position on K-FM, Western Cape.
The Maxi Single ‘Obsession” was released on 12th October 2001.
Bonus Track ‘Honey Bun” immediately reached the number 3 spot on East Coast Radio. This resulted in a demand for the product, where title track “Obsession” broke barriers in the rest of South Africa and on Y-FM.

Their sound is a great mixture of different genres which highlights the group’s diverse culture. They have excellent harmonies, oozing with sex appeal and this means they easily create a fun, desirable atmosphere for a great night out.

The terrible civil wars in the Congo are the reason that the band came to South Africa to continue their musical careers. The band use to play at the following Hotels in Congo: Sofitel, Meridien & Azur International Hotel in Congo.
Since their arrival in S. Africa in 2004 (as refugees) they have performed at Marimba, Mannenberg Jazz Café, Mama Africa & Kennedy’s Cigar & Jazz Club, Moyo in Cape Town before moving to Johannesburg. They are a talented band that are suitable for hotels, private functions and music festivals.

Inspired by traditional African rhythms, which they use with their knowledge of jazz and pop, the Telama Band and their two female vocalistes create a sound & a show on stage, which is exciting, interesting & suitable for either listening or dancing. They are currently in Cape Town.

The Newz Band have traveled extensively throughout the Middle East since 1996, working successfully in the Sofitel and Hilton group of hotels. They were support band to The Gipsy Kings during their tour of Egypt in 2000, performing at night in the Sinai Desert.

Some of his award winning performances include March of the Falsettos ~ Falsettoland, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and the spectacular QUEEN at the Opera and QUEEN II, The Show Must Go On. He has been a feautured soloist with every mayor symphony orchestra in the country, including the PE Pops at the Feather Market Centre in Port Elizabeth and The Valentine’s Concerts and the Starlight Pops in Durban.

Joseph is doing “quite a lot” of corporate singing and voice-overs for radio and television. (He was M-Net’s Action Attraction Supersport-Voice for a couple of years.) Joseph is also the guy in the TV-commercial who manages to drive a four-by-four out of a pool of quicksand after literally disappearing into it!! (Yes, he really did go under – 6 times!) This year he kicked off with his own QUEEN-show “don’t stop me now!” at venues across the country.

He will be performing Joseph Clark - QUEEN (presented by MASTER CARD and East Coast Radio) at the Playhouse Opera House in Durban on 17 & 18 September as a gala fund raiser for HIV-Aids-infected children of the St Mary’s Hospital. Fans in PE can look forward to seeing this show at the PE Opera house towards the end of November!
